HEH-HEY!!

Ok. That was a little enthusiastic. I'll warn you now, I'm really not that enthusiastic. *smirk*

Name's Cassie. I have two writing journals, doggie_dreams  for everything and anything that pops into my head and I just had to write about and wordygirls_fics , which is a writing community that I manage with my bestest Erin B aka hyperactivegirl . Go check 'em out if you get curious. They're both completely open (not Friends Only).

I'm 21 years old at the moment, and sort of...in between. I started college in 2006 at  the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; I was an english major, but realized quickly that I wasn't at all ready for school. So at the moment, I'm taking some time off, working at Rocky Rococo's and trying to figure out my life.

I'm making my journal Friends Only. I've been getting random people friending me that I don't know, and I realized that I don't want random people that I don't know reading my journal. I didn't used to have a problem with it, but the one day...poof! I have a problem with it.

So that's the reason for the change. Me and my weird...mistrusting of people. :)

Not a lot goes on here...I update maybe once every two weeks or so. If I'm feeling really ambitions, or I have a lot of crazy quizzes and memes to post, then it might get bumped to twice every two weeks or so.

I know, I know. You can barely contain your excitement. It happens to the best of us. :D

I suppose I should post some type of Disclaimer or w/e...

Disclaimer: I do use foul language. That contains profanity, words society may frown upon in public, the taking of the Lords name in vain...stuff like that. I talk about sexual situations, I discuss issues of homosexuality, politics, religion, etc (not a lot. really never, but it has come up, so just to be sure, I'll put it up).

It's mostly just a place for me to voice my thoughts on whatever subject is flitting around my mind at the moment. It'll be a lot about my personal life. About what I've been doing lately. Nothing too horrible. /end Disclaimer.

So...a few more things about myself...I read a lot. Fiction, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, (the Teen section in Barnes & Noble)...fanfiction. I kinda despise Non-Fiction.

I really love hanging out with my friends. I just love doing things, but it's always better with friends along.

I write a little, which I mentioned and I posted my journals in the last entry.

I'm on the computer A LOT. My SN is chuckles4134, so if you see something you like in here, totally IM me, see what's up. I'm always up for conversation (unless I'm really not, and then I'll usually tell you) and am totally in love with questions. Ask away!

I want to travel. Like, everywhere. I'm not Irish at all (FYI, I'm Dutch, French, German, Hungarian), but I've wanted to visit Ireland for the longest time. And after Ireland is Italy, England, France, Scotland, Germany, Australia, Russia....almost anywhere in Europe. I'd like to visit every State in the USA. I'd like to visit Canada again.

I'm (I was) an English major, but no I don't want to be a writer, and no I dont want to be a teacher. I want to be a Book Editor, or a Proof-reader. I think I'm leaning more towards the Proof-reader, but I'm not sure of the actual definition of either profession, so we'll see. But when someone sat me down one day and was like, 'to be frank: what would you want to do for the rest of your life?' and I answered, 'I want to read books.' it narrows the field.

I have all kinds of interests. Things that seem rather obvious and things that might surprise you. I've wanted to travel since...forever. It probably started around the time I really got into reading, and I was picking up book after book and reading about people's interesting lives all over the world. I'd like to visit all 50 States, and can't wait for the Nora Roberts Road Trip my bestest and I plan on taking.

I've always liked watching other people cook, but am not nearly as talented or interested in the actual cooking as another friend of mine. He's pretty much awesome in the kitchen, and I leave him to it.

I read. A lot. Books, fanfiction, LJ posts, magazine articles, the occasional (and rare) newspaper article. I’m not much into Non-fiction. If I wanted to read about real life and the nasty things that can happen to you out there, I would just go out and sit on a street corner. See what happens. I pick up a book and start reading for the sole purpose of losing myself and my world around me. I’ve been known to start reading and need to be shaken to bring me back to myself. Reading is the escape, and books are the way to do it.

Movies and TV Shows. I have a few Shows that I try to watch religiously, making the time to sit down and watch them every week, making sure nothing clashes with my scheduled viewing. Supernatural has been one from the beginning, when my younger brother and I saw an encore showing of the Pilot and fell in love with the thrills and chills even in that first episode. One Tree Hill is another that I was hooked on right from the start. I recently re-watched all the episodes, starting with that famous River court one-on-one between Lucas and Nathan, to our most recent Lucas/Peyton wedding story-arc, and the Unkindness of Ravens movie-deal.

I’m a crazy Disney Fangirl, for almost anything with the Disney D attached to it somewhere. I don’t really like Pinocchio, and I’m not too fond of the majority of the Disney Sequels, but there’s so much more to love, I think I can make up for it. Hercules has been one of my favorite movies since the moment I saw it, and 101 Dalmatians is a close second. I will be in love with Pongo until the day I die, and if there were a man out there like that cartoon dog, I’d be set for life.

I'm a shameless flirt and a horrible gossip. I'm nosy and not someone you want to come to with petty and un-important secrets. I'm too judgemental and hold grudges like a champ. But on the flip-side, I can be an amazing friend, if you go the distance and stick around to get there. I can keep a secret, even from myself if I have to, and would do anything for those I call friend. I try not to lie, especially to myself.

I'm a lot of things. I have all kinds of crazy interests. Talk to me, get to know me. I think I can be pretty interesting *smirk*

So....I just went over that long-ass list of my 'Friends' and w/e, and I think I either unfriended a lot of people, or just took them off the list of people who can view my journal...I'm not really sure what I did. But if I took you off something you'd like to be on, then certainly tell me. Just comment here or on the Friends Only post. Whichever works.

So, my BFF called me this morning (ok, fine. Morning for me. It was at 1:20 this afternoon) and we're talking and whatnot. And then she asks me: how many shoes do you own? I t hink her and her friends had had this discussion before, about my shoes and I. So I started counting. I went through the Chucks first, because I have an entire rainbow except for purple, making it easier to think about.

Red - Chinese Patterns, and the Bi-sexual shoes.

Orange - The embroidered Swirls.

Yellow - Gold Filigree (but those might be adopted by EB soon, so I think I still have to hunt for a yellow).

Green - My first ever pair of chucks, the Kelly Green's and The Pre-Destroyed (MY FAVORITE!!!)

Blue - Plaids.

And that's it. I don't have purples yet. So that's seven right there. I have a pink pair of Converse, but they're not Chucks, so they don't count. That's eight.

I have two pairs of Saucony Jazz, a green/grey and a blue/pink. Ten.

I have three pairs of Skate Shoes, brown DC's, brown Etnies and white/blue Vans (now I know some of you don't count Vans as skate shoes, but w/e. Deal with it). Twelve.

I have two pairs of Adidas, both blue/white, but different shades of blue. 14.

I have one pair of Nike's, some kind of grey/yellow thing. It's covered in mud right now, so I don't wear them as much. 15.

I have four pairs of dress shoes, black strappy things, little black....things, and another pair of black things. I don't know what to call them. And then these awesome teal green flats. 19.

I have clogs. I used to have two pairs, but my Mother threw one of them away, so yea. I plan on buying another pair soon, because these are also getting a little grody. 20.

I have four pairs of sandals, three flip-flops and one athletic type. Speedo. 24. 

And that's about it. I think. Some other pair might pop up at some random time, but whatever. Maybe I'll update it, maybe not. Probably not.

And I wear at least seven of those pairs more than a few times a year. I wear the chucks almost every day, depending on what color shirt I'm wearing, or what mood I'm in. If I don't feel like doing any tying that day, it's a tie between the Etnies and the green/grey Saucony Jazz. 

24 pairs and counting. I have a lot of shoes. And I plan on getting more. Crazy, I know.

EDIT/: I have the purple. In my rainbow. I have the Purple. I'm calling them...Psychedelic. That's what the website calls them. My Purple Psychedelics.

Hey all you crazy kids out there!

so...myself and Erin, or hyperactivegirl have decided to start our own community! 

It's called wordygirls_fics, and we'd like you all to join. It's a place where me and erin can post our writings and ramblings. At the moment, it's just the two of us posting, and it will probably stay that way for a while. But who knows what the future may bring..

So, yea...come see! Join, or friend or w/e it is you do! But come take a look none the less. It's not much right now, but thats because we haven't had time to really make it awesome. Give us some time.
